Research

Starting from 2009 the company operated in the structure of the Research Department - Development which was created to carry out or supervise the self-commissioned external research. The desire to continuously improve the company's development and their products was the cause of establishment of their own research teams. Particularly important area of concern from the standpoint of the Company are issues related to nanotechnology and especially the use of antibacterial and antifungal properties of some metals to nano-scale fragmented.

In the course of many years of research conducted by numerous research centers have shown that nano silver particles in the corresponding fragmentation exhibit bactericidal and fungicidal.

Nanoparticles of metals is a new generation of biocides because:

  • in contrast to traditional measures work permanently,
  • their production is possible thanks to nanotechnology,
  • demonstrate the efficacy of 99,99%,
  • are plant-based odor-free water even neutralizing odors,
  • are friendly for allergy sufferers,
  • consist of particles of silver (or silver and silica) which are known to medicine as safe for human body,
  • bring enormous benefits at a low purchase price,
  • protect the environment through the elimination of chlorine compounds.

With the research work made independently and in collaboration with the Academy of Jan Dlugosz in Czestochowa and Krakow University of Technology has successfully developed methods for the application of silver nanoparticles to polymers: PE, LDPE, HDPE and PP.

Features and properties of polymers:

  • bactericidal function - the effectiveness of 99.99%,
  • transparency (above 90%),
  • glossy surface,
  • high efficiency for low concentration of biocidal silver,
  • do not diminished physical or better,
  • stability at high temperatures - above the melting point,

Results of tests on a laboratory scale was able to move to production scale. The effect of this is already produced on an industrial PE film and PP nonwoven modified nanoparticles of silver.

Application of new products is very broad: from the medical industry (disposable protective clothing of PE and PP fabric) through the construction industry (insulation foils for the building), ending the food industry.

The new company's products were tested according to standards approved by the Research Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products:

  • BS EN ISO 20645:2006 - Determination of antibacterial properties of flat textile products,
  • ISO 22196:2007 - Plastics - Measurement of antibacterial activity on plastics surfaces.

The results of these tests are positive. On the page you can find copies of test reports.
